June’s experience within the healthcare sales, marketing and project management spans a journey of 10 years in healthcare sales and marketing with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Pfizer followed by Business Development Director in Quintiles Ireland, where June was responsible for the development of Outsourced Sales Solutions. While working in the pharmaceutical industry June maintained active membership of the Medical Representatives Institute and subsequently the Pharmaceutical Managers Institute.
June’s vision for CCIS is to provide “ a quality, client focused conference management service for the healthcare industry, based in Ireland and beyond” this is something that has been achieved by CCIS over the last 16 years and remains its driving force into the future. In the 16 years of Business, June believes that CCIS success comes from focusing on what is essential to business retention “our customers”. Donna O’ ShaughnessyCommercial Operations Lead
Donna joined CCIS in 2007 bringing both qualifications and pragmatism to her role as Project Coordinator. Prior to this, Donna worked in event management and conferencing both nationally and internationally as well as gaining extensive experience in the travel industry. A graduate in Business Studies with Event Management, Donna is qualified in Business and Corporate Entertainment as well as Public Relations, Corporate Events, Conferencing and Hospitality.
Having changed roles a number of times during her career with CCIS, from Project Coordinator to Project Director, Donna has recently been appointed to the role of Commercial Operations Lead. She is responsible for the management of the Commercial Team who are in turn responsible for the planning and logistics of all international & local Medical Congress over a number of clients. While maintaining the exceptional relationship with her clients, built over the last number of years, Donna strives to ensure that her and her team offer a truly professional experience to CCIS customers and their delegates.
Kim HutchinsonFinancial Controller
With over 20 years’ experience in retail and account management Kim joined the CCIS team in 2007 as Financial Controller. Kim’s role includes preparation of all CCIS financial reporting procedures in compliance with CCIS audit and financial management needs. Kim implements all purchasing and payment forecasting and works closely with each project team to ensure best value is achieved for each client.
Kim implements not only the CCIS financial reports but is also responsible for all client statements and ensures that each client is provided with appropriate project and transfer of value reports in line with client requirements and EFPIA, Transfer of Value compliance.
Carole McLaughlinSenior Project Lead
Carole joined the CCIS team in 2009 as a Project Lead and has recently been promoted to Senior Project Lead. Her new role covers both the responsibility for financial and logistical planning for groups attending international medical meetings and allows her to implement the skills she has gained over the last 8 years.
Carole works with a variety of client groups and she is experienced at implementing a number of bespoke conference management systems, depending on the requirements of the client. Carole also carries out the onsite delivery of her client programs and enjoys the “buzz” of delivery. Carole has always enjoyed working with people and believes that organisation, efficiency along with flexibility are essential for a successful event.
Brenna EnrightSenior Project Lead
Brenna first joined CCIS in 2013 and since then has proved herself to be an invaluable member of the team. She is a qualified graphic designer and brings a photographer’s eye for detail to her work. She remains poised and composed in all eventualities.
She has sole responsibility for a number of clients; overseeing budgets, trouble shooting, planning and delivering meetings onsite. One of Brenna’s main tasks is managing her clients TOV and Audit requirements, something that Brenna has worked on since its introduction by EFPIA & IPHA. She enjoys providing a seamless service to all her clients while building a professional relationship with them and their customers.
Sylwia GomesProject Lead
Sylwia joined CCIS in 2016 and has brought a new dynamic to the team. A bright and efficient professional with a positive attitude, Sylwia approaches any challenge with the same practical and solution driven focus. With an outstanding academic performance in her Undergraduate Degree in Travel & Tourism along with a Masters in Project Management, Sylwia has now turned her focus to the area of conference management. Along with her academic training, she has also worked both in Sales and Travel bringing practical as well as academic skills to her new role.
Sylwia has recently been appointed to Project Lead and with superb organizational skills, she is enjoying the high energy, problem solving, creative needs of this role.
Fiona EnrightProject Lead
As the most recent recruit to the CCIS team Fiona joined the company in July 2016. She is responsible for the procurement, co-ordination and delivery of independent medical meetings and conferences, both nationally and internationally.
Fiona studied Hotel & Business Management and trained in both Ireland and Switzerland. Following an initial career in hotel operational and human resources management in London she moved to live in South East Asia and latterly Shanghai in China. Whilst in Asia she worked in both the public and private sector in the areas of client services, logistics and events management.
She has recently returned to live in Ireland and is delighted to apply her varied international experience in a role where her organisational skills and customer service ethic are essential.
Michelle CaseyProject Administrator
Since joining CCIS in 2015, Michelle has brought with her an enthusiasm for conference management and a willingness to learn from her colleagues. She is friendly, outgoing, passionate about working with people and enjoys the new experiences that each conference brings.
Michelle works as project administrator and has gained valuable experience in overseas conferencing in the last twelve months. She is gaining new skills with each conference and looks forward to growing and developing these skills over the upcoming projects that she is working on.
